Web studio MSCHF, which in 2019 released for inconspicuous viewing of serials at the workplace, spoke about her new project. She decided to recreate all episodes of the comedy series The Office inside Slack, a corporate messenger. Studio staff will recreate situations from the series, chatting on behalf of the characters from approximately 17:00 to 1:00 Moscow time.
It will be possible to follow the actions of employees of the fictional company Dunder Mifflin in a special Slack, which consists of several channels. In most of them, like the "room of the best boss in the world" and "sales department" episodes of the series will be recreated. Viewers are strictly forbidden to write in them - messages will be deleted by moderators. The MSCHF team started working on the project before the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the head of the commercial department Daniel Greenberg (Daniel Greenberg), they are interested to know how the characters of the series would behave if they had access to the corporate messenger Slack. The Office series ended in 2013, when the Slack messenger just launched in test mode. So the audience did not manage to see him in the episodes.
