Motorola is preparing the next device in the Z family - Moto Z4. The solution will be the successor to the Moto Z3 based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and has already come to the attention of journalists more than once. A recent Indian publication points out the key specifications and features of the Moto Z4, citing information from an internal Motorola marketing document.
The leak says that the Motorola Moto Z4 will be equipped with a 6,4-inch OLED display with a teardrop notch and Full HD+ resolution. As is fashionable today, a fingerprint scanner will be built into the screen. By the way, it was previously reported that the Moto Z4 will have a 6,22-inch display.
The smartphone runs on the reference Android 9 Pie, but will also receive several exclusive features from the manufacturer such as Moto Display, Moto Actions and Moto Experience. Unfortunately, it will be based on a mid-range Snapdragon 675 chip rather than something more powerful. The device will be compatible with 5G networks due to the external accessory 5G Moto Mod, connected via a 16-pin connector on the rear side.
The Moto Z4 will feature a single 48-megapixel rear camera and will support advanced night photography capabilities with Night Vision. For shooting self-portraits there is a 25-megapixel front camera. In low-light conditions, Quad Pixel technology allows you to get sharper 6-megapixel images on the front camera, and 12-megapixel on the main camera. The smartphone will be equipped with a number of AI-based photo features and will also support augmented reality stickers.
The Moto Z4 will have a 3600 mAh battery with TurboCharge fast charging technology. It is expected that it will receive a waterproof case from accidental splashes. The smartphone will retain the traditional 3,5 mm audio jack. The price is not mentioned, but the source claims that the Moto Z4 will be half the price of flagship offerings, that is, it could be in the range of $400β500.
