Remember everything: a new section has appeared on VKontakte

The social network VKontakte continues to expand its functionality: the next innovation is a section called “Memories”.

Through the new section you can see posts and photographs posted on your personal page on the same day a year or several years ago. “Memories” will tell about friendship anniversaries, the date of registration on a social network and other memorable events in the user’s life.

The section is available in all versions of VKontakte. In particular, “Memories” appeared in the profile in the regular and mobile versions of the social network, as well as in the VK mobile application (via the “..." icon).

In the section settings, you can set notifications that will notify you about interesting memories. For each event from the past, you can select a colored background, and in the mobile application you can also share it in history: tag those who also care about this moment, add an inscription, hashtag or sticker.

Let us add that the VKontakte audience is about 100 million users per month. They exchange approximately 10 billion messages every day.
