A new version of the LSP Plugins effects package has been released, designed for sound processing when mixing and mastering audio recordings.
The most significant changes:
- Added a plugin for loudness compensation using curves of the same volume - Loudness Compensator.
- Added a plug-in to protect against sudden bursts of signal at the beginning and end of playback - Surge Filter.
- Significant changes in the Limiter plugin: several modes have been removed and an Automatic Level Regulaion (ALR) mode has been implemented.
- A mechanism for dumping the internal state of plugins into JSON files has been implemented, which can be useful when identifying unclear situations with plugins. At the same time, new implemented plugins and some old plugins already support this mechanism.
- Added the ability to load Hydrogen drum kits into Multisampler plugins.
- Minor changes and fixes in the spectrum analyzer.
- Some fixes in the low-level DSP code that could lead to incorrect calculations. Anyone who uses dynamic processing plugins is strongly recommended to upgrade.
- Implemented double buffering of windows, now all blinking controls are permanently eliminated.
