KaOS 2020.09 distribution release

Submitted by issue KaOS 2020.09, a continuous update distribution aimed at providing a desktop based on the latest releases of KDE and applications using Qt. The distribution is developed with Arch Linux in mind, but maintains its own independent repository of about 1500 packages, and also offers a number of its own graphical utilities. Assemblies are published for x86_64 systems (2.3 GB).

In the new release:

  • The package includes a program for visual study of differences in files Kdiff3 and a two-factor authentication manager Keysmith.
  • The Midna theme has been redesigned, which has been moved from QtCurve to an SVG engine quantum to define the style of applications. A new design of the boot splash screen has been proposed. Added custom light and dark icon themes.
