The release of the MiniOS 5.0.0 distribution, based on Debian 13 "Trixie" and runs directly from a USB drive. The graphical environment is based on Xfce. The distribution uses a modular architecture, allowing for customized configurations by adding and removing components to tailor the system to specific needs. The release is available in three editions:
- Standard (amd64, 798 MB) — compact assembly for everyday tasks. Characterized by high performance and a laconic interface. Includes a web browser, file manager, text editor, archiver, multimedia capabilities and specialized MiniOS utilities for installing the system, setting up, managing modules and working with drives.

- Toolbox (amd64, 1.2 GB) - specialized Linux- a distribution for servicing, diagnosing, and restoring computer systems. Contains tools for disk management, network diagnostics, ensuring data security, system testing, support for various file systems, and virtualization. Designed for system administrators and technical specialists.

- Ultra (amd64, 1.7 GB) is an extended set of software tools designed for both servicing and diagnosing computer systems and solving a wide range of office tasks. Includes all the features of Toolbox plus an office suite, multimedia applications for working with graphics, audio and video, as well as containerization tools.

The most important changes:
- Transition to a package base Debian 13 "Trixie" with a new initialization architecture. The minios-boot initialization system has been replaced with the standard live-config mechanism, adapted for the needs of MiniOS, supporting advanced configuration, settings synchronization, and user directory management.
- The standard kernel is used by default. Debian 6.12.41+deb13-amd64 with Secure Boot support. A dedicated package with the MiniOS 6.12.41-mos-amd64 kernel is also available, supporting AUFS and NTFS partition compression. The MiniOS Kernel Manager utility is available for kernel installation.
- User utilities have been reworked:
- MiniOS Installer and MiniOS Configurator feature a new graphical interface and expanded functionality;
- Drive Utility has become a universal tool for working with storage devices (writing/creating images, formatting, secure erasing);
- Added MiniOS Session Manager utility for session management;
- Added MiniOS Kernel Manager utility for managing kernels.
- The system code base has undergone significant optimization and cleaning, which has increased the stability and performance of all components. The module structure has been simplified and compatibility with various equipment has been improved.
- Improved visual design of the interface and updated download system with multilingual support.
- Expanded internationalization: full support for Indonesian language added, updated translations into 7 languages, significantly expanded documentation.
