Proxmox Mail Gateway 6.0 distribution release

Proxmox, known for developing the distribution Proxmox Virtual Environment to deploy virtual server infrastructures, presented distribution release Proxmox MailGateway 6.0. Proxmox Mail Gateway is presented as a turnkey solution for quickly creating a system for monitoring mail traffic and protecting the internal mail server.

Installation ISO Image available for free download. Distribution-Specific Components open licensed under AGPLv3. To install updates, both the paid Enterprise repository and two free repositories, which differ in the level of stabilization of updates. The system part of the distribution is based on the Debian 10 (Buster) package base and the Linux 5 kernel. Is possible installation of Proxmox Mail Gateway components on top of already running servers based on Debian 10.

Proxmox Mail Gateway functions as a proxy server acting as a gateway between an external network and an internal mail server based on MS Exchange, Lotus Domino or Postfix. It is possible to manage all incoming and outgoing mail flows. All correspondence logs are parsed and available for analysis via the web interface. Both graphs are provided to evaluate the overall dynamics, as well as various reports and forms to obtain information about specific letters and delivery status. It supports the creation of cluster configurations for high availability (keeping a synchronized standby server, data is synchronized via an SSH tunnel) or load balancing.
