The next version of the Radix cross Linux 1.9.300 distribution is available, built using our own Radix.pro build system, which simplifies the creation of distributions for embedded systems. Distribution builds are available for devices based on ARM/ARM64, MIPS and x86/x86_64 architecture. Boot images prepared according to the instructions in the Platform Download section contain a local package repository and therefore system installation does not require an Internet connection. The assembly system code is distributed under the MIT license.
Release 1.9.300 is notable for the inclusion of packages with the MATE 1.27.3 user environment. The complete list of packages can be found on the FTP server in the directory corresponding to the target device name in a file with the extension '.pkglist'. For example, the intel-pc64.pkglist file contains a list of packages available for installation on typical x86_64 machines.
Instructions for installing or using images as Live-CDs can be found in the Install section, as well as in sections dedicated to individual devices, for example, the Orange Pi5 device.
