A specialized distribution of Tails 5.19 (The Amnesic Incognito Live System) based on the package base has been released. Debian and designed for anonymous network browsing. Anonymous browsing in Tails is provided by the Tor system. All connections except for traffic through the Tor network are blocked by default by a packet filter. Encryption is used to store user data in persistence mode between launches. A 1 GB ISO image, capable of running in Live mode, is available for download.
The new version adds the ability to close a selected Tor chain to the Onion Circuits interface, for example, to replace a slow traffic path or to diagnose problems.
