A specialized distribution of Tails 6.1 (The Amnesic Incognito Live System) based on the package base has been released. Debian 12, which comes with the GNOME 43 desktop and is designed for anonymous web browsing. Anonymous browsing in Tails is provided by the Tor system. All connections except for traffic through the Tor network are blocked by default by a packet filter. Encryption is used to store user data in persistent mode between launches. A 1GB ISO image, capable of running in Live mode, is available for download.
