A new release of uBlock Origin 1.41, the unwanted content blocker, is available to block ads, malicious elements, motion tracking code, JavaScript miners, and other interfering elements. The uBlock Origin add-on is a high performance and memory efficient add-on that allows you not only to get rid of annoying elements, but also to reduce resource consumption and speed up page loading.
Major changes:
- Added support for dark mode.
- To select the appearance mode, a new βAppearanceβ section has been added to the settings, which offers three options for presenting the interface: Auto (as in a browser), Light and Dark, as well as options for changing the accent color and disabling tooltips.
- An option has been added to the "Filter lists" management tab to disable stopping any network activity in the browser before uBlock Origin has finished loading all filters (by default, network requests are suspended to ensure that all filters are applied when opening pages ).
