In addition to a 3D helmet-driven interface that allows viewing traditional 3D pages, the browser offers web developers the WebXR and WebVR APIs with VR extensions for WebGL and CSS, which make it possible to create specialized 3D web applications for interaction in virtual space and implement new methods of 360D navigation, information entry mechanisms and interfaces for information retrieval are brought to life. It also supports viewing spatial videos taken in XNUMX-degree mode in a XNUMXD helmet. Management is carried out through VR controllers, and data entry into web forms through a virtual or real keyboard.
Among the advanced user interaction mechanisms supported by the browser, the voice input system also stands out, which allows you to fill out forms and send search queries using the speech recognition engine developed by Mozilla. As a home page, the browser provides an interface for accessing selected content and navigating through a collection of 3D-adapted games, web applications, 3D models, and XNUMXD videos.
In the new version:
- Added support for add-ons. Addons available for installation include uBlock, Dark Reader, HTTPS Everywhere, and Privacy Badger.
- Implemented the ability to autofill the contents of web forms, including remembering entered passwords.
- The design of the library has been changed, providing an interface for accessing bookmarks, browsing history, downloads and add-ons. Auxiliary indicators have been added to the status bar, such as the battery level in the controller and virtual reality helmet, as well as the current time.
- The screen design of the recommended content (Content Feed) has been changed. A menu with categories has been added to the left side.
