A release of the fheroes2 0.9.5 project is available, attempting to recreate the Heroes of Might and Magic II game. The project code is written in C++ and distributed under the GPLv2 license. To run the game, game resource files are required, which can be obtained, for example, from the demo version of Heroes of Might and Magic II.
Major changes:
- Detailed descriptions of special properties have been added to the creature's stats and parameters view window.
- By holding down the list scroll keys, you can quickly move through the lists throughout the game interface.
- Fixed multiple traversability issues near objects on the world map.
- Campaigns now have the ability to restart the scenario and display special messages from creatures.
- AI now knows how to visit almost all objects on the world map and makes its way much more efficiently.
- Over 70 bugs fixed.
