The Apache Software Foundation has released the Apache NetBeans 12.5 IDE, which provides support for the Java SE, Java EE, PHP, C/C++, JavaScript, and Groovy programming languages. This is the eighth release by the Apache Foundation following the handover of the NetBeans code by Oracle.
Most of the changes in the new release are related to bug fixes. Improvements include adding a window for working with regular expressions to the Java environment, improving support for Gradle and Maven build systems, adding support for Jakarta EE 9 GlassFish 6, minor improvements in C ++ and PHP support, adding the ability to create objects to VSCode integration tools and files based on templates.
