Profanity 0.8 console XMPP client release

8 years after the first commit and 5 months after version 0.7 out console XMPP client Profitability 0.8. The profanity interface is built using the ncurses library, supports notifications using the libnotify library. The application can be built either with a library libstrophe, which implements work with the XMPP protocol, or with its fork libmesodemaintained by the developer. The client's capabilities can be extended using plugins in python. The project code is written in C and spreads licensed under GPLv3.

The new release adds 315 new commits. 11 people wrote the code: Pavel Fariello, Sven Specmeier, Aaptel, Aszlig, Martin, Dmitry Podgorny, Marko Zagozhen, Daniil Lublin, Holger Weiss, Florent Levigne and Michael Vetter. Changes:
