AMD Radeon 20.30 Video Driver Set Release

AMD ΠΎΠΏΡƒΠ±Π»ΠΈΠΊΠΎΠ²Π°Π»Π° release of a set of drivers AMD Radeon 20.30 for Linux based on the free AMDGPU kernel module developed under initiatives unifying the AMD graphics stack for proprietary and open source video drivers. In one set AMD Radeon integrated open and proprietary driver stacks - the amdgpu-pro and amdgpu-all-open drivers (RADV vulkan driver and RadeonSI OpenGL driver based on Mesa code) are offered in one package and the user can choose open or closed drivers at his discretion.

Driver supports OpenGL 4.6, GLX 1.4, OpenCL 1.2, Vulkan 1.2 and VDPAU/VAAPI APIs, includes basic screen and power controls, supports KMS (Kernel Mode Setting) and ADF (Atomic Display Framework) interfaces, uses a GPL-compliant module core, supports FirePro capabilities (EDID management and 30-bit color), Radeon FreeSync, and DirectGMA for OpenGL. The new version is notable for eliminating accumulated errors and providing support for SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 SP 2 and Ubuntu 20.04.1 distributions. The drivers also officially support Ubuntu 18.04.4, RHEL/CentOS 7.8 and RHEL/CentOS 8.2.
