The release of the main branch of nginx 1.21.6 has been formed, within which the development of new features continues (only changes related to the elimination of serious errors and vulnerabilities are made in the parallel supported stable branch 1.20).
Major changes:
- Fixed uneven distribution of client connections between worker processes when using EPOLLEXCLUSIVE on Linux systems;
- Fixed bug where nginx would return "Connection: keep-alive" header line in responses during graceful shutdown of old worker processes;
- Corrections have been made to the ssl_session_ticket_key directive when using TLSv1.3.
