Release of Bespoke Synth 1.0 software audio synthesizer

After 10 years of development, the first stable release of the Bespoke Synth project is available, which develops a modular software sound synthesizer that allows you to generate and process sound based on the visual redirection of sound flows between different modules that shape and change the shape of a sound wave, as well as apply effects. The project code is written in C++ and distributed under the GPLv3 license. Ready builds are prepared for Linux, macOS and Windows.

Of the features of the application, the ability to change the environment on the fly is noted - you can add and change nodes without interrupting music playback. More than 190 modules are available for creating audio chains. It supports connecting ready-made VST plugins and quickly creating your own handlers in Python. Tools are provided for integration with MIDI controllers.

The project's approach to monetization is interesting - in addition to the free version, two paid options are offered - bespoke plus ($5) and bespoke pro ($15), which are completely identical to the free version and do not contain advanced features, which is clearly stated in the comparison table on the site (it is understood that that if the program is liked, the user can support the project without coercion by purchasing a paid option).
