Release of Puppy Linux 9.5, a distribution for legacy computers

Submitted by release of a lightweight Linux distribution Puppy 9.5 (FossaPup), oriented to work on obsolete equipment. Boot iso image occupies 409 MB (x86_64).

The distribution is built using the Ubuntu 20.04 package base and its own build tools Woof-CE, which allows you to use package databases of third-party distributions as a basis. The user's graphical environment is based on the JWM window manager, the ROX file manager, its own set of GUI configurators (Puppy Control Panel), widgets (Pwidgets - clock, calendar, RSS, connection status, etc.) and applications (Pburn, Uextract, Packit , Change_kernels, JWMdesk, YASSM, Pclock, SimpleGTKradio). Palemoon is used as a browser. The package also includes Claws mail, Torrent client, MPV media player, Deadbeef audio player, Abiword word processor, Gnumeric spreadsheet, Samba, CUPS.
