A version of the qBittorrent 4.5 torrent client has been released, written using the Qt toolkit and developed as an open alternative to µTorrent, close to it in terms of interface and functionality. qBittorrent features include: integrated search engine, RSS subscription option, support for many BEP extensions, web-based remote control, order-by-order sequential download mode, advanced settings for torrents, peers and trackers, bandwidth scheduler and IP filter, interface for creating torrents, support for UPnP and NAT-PMP. The project code is written in C++ and distributed under the GPLv2+ license.
Among the changes and innovations:
