Stream 2.0 keyboard layout release with community fixes

Published version 2.0 of the Brook engineering keyboard layout. The layout allows you to enter special characters, such as "{}[]<>", without switching to the Latin alphabet, using the right Alt key, which simplifies the typing of technical texts using Markdown, Yaml and Wiki markup, as well as program code in Russian. The English version of the layout is also available, which has the same arrangement of special characters as the Russian version. Project developments are distributed as public domain.

Changes in the new version:

  • Layouts are now completely based on the Russian version;
  • The double quotation mark and grave have returned to their place;
  • Changed the location of the apostrophe and paragraph;
  • Removed the identification of layouts as Cyrillic and Latin;
  • For Linux, layouts are no longer classified as "exotic" and placed in base.xml;
  • Fixed identification of layouts as "ru" and "en" for GNOME.

The opennet.ru and linux.org.ru communities took a great part in the preparation of the new version. Since version 2.0, all changes are frozen, symbols will not change their position. For Linux, the layouts will be available in the xkeyboard-config 2.37 release. The release also includes layout options for Windows and macOS.
