Release of project management system Calligra Plan 3.2

Submitted by project management system release Calligra Plan 3.2 (formerly KPlato), which is part of the office suite Calligradeveloped by the KDE developers. Calligra Plan allows you to coordinate the execution of tasks, determine the dependencies between the ongoing work, plan the execution time, track the status of different stages of development and manage the allocation of resources in the development of large projects.

Of the innovations noted:

  • Ability to move in drag & drop mode and copy tasks through the clipboard, as well as text and HTML data from most tables and diagrams;
  • Support for project templates that can be generated from existing projects to create generic alternatives;
  • Project settings moved to a separate menu. Options have been added to the View menu to control the display of information;
  • Improved interface for editing and viewing documents. Added the ability to open documents through the context menu in most project modes;
  • Added dialog for reassigning shared resources;
  • Separated dialogs of the task editor and the editor of dependencies between tasks;
  • Added support for preprocessing selected tasks;
  • Added automatic scheduling mode based on priorities set for tasks;
  • Added timeline to Ganttview rendering mode;
  • Improved report generation and expanded opportunities for creating report templates;
  • Added support for selective data export in the ICalExport filter;
  • Added filter for importing project files from Gnome Planner.
