Internet sources report that Google has once again postponed the official presentation of its new relatively budget smartphone Pixel 4a, which has already managed to acquire numerous rumors.
According to available information, the device will receive a Snapdragon 730 processor with eight processing cores (up to 2,2 GHz) and an Adreno 618 graphics accelerator. The amount of RAM will be 4 GB, the flash drive capacity will be 64 and 128 GB.
The device is credited with having a 5,81-inch FHD + OLED display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, an 8-megapixel front camera and a single 12,2-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization.
The equipment will include a fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2 × 2 MIMO (2,4 / 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5 LE wireless adapters, a GPS receiver, a USB Type-C port and an NFC controller. Power will be provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3080 mAh with support for 18-watt recharging.
The Pixel 4a was originally expected to be announced in May. Then there was information that the debut could take place in June - simultaneously with the release of the beta version of the Android 11 operating system. And now it is said that the presentation has been postponed until mid-summer. All these transfers are clearly related to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to new data, Google will introduce the smartphone on July 13. The Pixel 4a will be priced between $300-$350.
