A new version of the Tails distribution has been released, designed for anonymous access to the network.
List of changes:
- Tor Browser has been updated to version 8.5.
- The Linux kernel has been updated to version 4.19.37.
- All methods of protection against MDS vulnerabilities in Intel processors available for Linux are enabled, SMT is disabled.
- The Pidgin and OpenPGP applets have been returned to the top navigation bar.
- Graphical applications removed: Gobby, Pitivi, Traverso. Command line utilities removed: hopenpgp-tools, keyringer, monkeysign, monkeysphere, msva-perl, paperkey, pwgen, ssss, pdf-redact-tools. Can be installed via Application Installation Center.
