Tor Browser 10.0.12 release and Tails 4.16 distribution

Tails 4.16 (The Amnesic Incognito Live System), a specialized distribution kit, based on the Debian package base and designed to provide anonymous access to the network, has been released. Anonymous exit to Tails is provided by the Tor system. All connections, except traffic through the Tor network, are blocked by default by the packet filter. Encryption is used to store user data in the save user data between runs mode. An iso image has been prepared for download, capable of working in Live mode, with a size of 1.1 GB.

The new release uses new versions of the Linux kernel 5.10 (the previous version shipped the 5.9 kernel), Tor Browser 10.0.12, Thunderbird 78.7.0. Transitioned to the new stable branch Tor 0.4.5.
