Red Hat Company a new version of the graphical interface for managing virtual environments - Virt-Manager 3.0.0. The Virt-Manager shell is written in Python/PyGTK and is an add-on for and supports the management of systems such as Xen, KVM, LXC and QEMU. Project code licensed under GPLv2.
The program provides tools for visual assessment of statistics on performance and resource consumption by virtual machines, creation of new virtual machines, configuration and redistribution of system resources. To connect to virtual machines, a viewer with support for VNC and SPICE protocols is provided. The package additionally includes command-line utilities for creating and cloning virtual machines, as well as editing libvirt settings in XML format and creating a root FS.
