VirtualBox 6.1.26 release

Oracle has published a corrective release of the VirtualBox 6.1.26 virtualization system, which notes 5 fixes.

Major changes:

  • Additions for the Linux platform resolve a regressive change introduced in a previous release that caused the mouse cursor to move when using the VMSVGA virtual adapter in a multi-monitor configuration.
  • The VMSVGA driver fixed the appearance of artifacts on the screen when restoring the saved state of the virtual machine.
  • Fixed an issue with audio output when using CUE metadata with track information in a CD/DVD image.
  • In VBoxHeadless mode, the state of the virtual machine is saved when the host environment is shut down.
  • VBoxManage resolves operating system detection issues for Ubuntu 20.10 iso images with automatic installation support.
