Oracle has published a corrective release of the VirtualBox 6.1.28 virtualization system, which notes 23 fixes.
Major changes:
- For Linux guests and hosts, initial support has been added for the 5.14 and 5.15 kernels, as well as the RHEL 8.5 distribution.
- Improved kernel module installation detection for Linux hosts to avoid unnecessary module rebuilds.

- In guest systems with Linux, the line-in volume setting has been adjusted when emulating HDA devices.
- The bindings provide support for Python 3.9.
- Improved services for clipboard sharing via VRDP.
- Added support for Windows 11 guest systems.
