Oracle has published a corrective release of the virtualization system
Main changes in release 6.1.8:
- Guest Additions fixed build issues in
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.2, CentOS 8.2, and Oracle Linux 8.2 (when using the RHEL kernel); - Fixed problems with the positioning of the mouse cursor and the layout of interface elements in the GUI when using the virtual keyboard;
- Fixed a GUI crash that occurred when the last virtual machine in the list was deleted;
- The ability to rename stateful virtual machines has been added to the GUI and API;
- Serial driver fixes issue with slow output when using TCP server mode with no active connections;
- Returned command 'VBoxClient --checkhostversion';
- In guests with an X11-based graphics subsystem, issues with screen resizing and handling of multi-monitor configurations have been resolved.
- When executing the command 'VBoxManage guestcontrol VM run'
solved problems with passing several environment variables; - In VBoxManage guestcontrol, the command line size limit has been extended and changes have been made to improve stability.
