An experimental release of the open source implementation of the Win32 API, Wine 10.6, has been published. Since the release of 10.5, 27 bug reports have been closed and 286 changes have been made.
The most important changes:
- The cmd.exe command interpreter offers a new lexical analyzer.
- The Bcrypt library has added support for PBKDF2, a password-based key generation function.
- In the library set WindowsCodecs has expanded support for metadata in image files (added handlers for the GifComment, bKGD, gAMA, cHRM, hIST, tIME fields).
- Fixed a problem with graphics rendering when using the gdiplus library.
- Correct resizing has been adjusted virtual desktop.
- Closed bug reports related to the operation of the following applications: 2GIS 3.0, IrfanView 4.44, Microsoft Detours Library WC3 World Editor, Xenos 2.3.2, FL Studio, Texconv, Resource Hacker 5.1.8, ClickOnce.
- Closed bug reports related to the operation of the games: Blue Wish Resurrection Plus, EVE Online, Alan Wake, Aura Kingdom, STOnline, Ultrakill, The Medium, Zafehouse: Diaries, Astroneer, Queen of Heart 99 SE. Resolved issues with keyboard input and setting focus in games based on the Unity engine.
