An experimental branch of the open implementation of WinAPI β Wine 6.12 β has been released. Since the release of version 6.11, 42 bug reports have been closed and 354 changes have been made.
The most important changes:
- The composition includes two new themes "Blue" and "Classic Blue".
- An initial implementation of the NSI (Network Store Interface) service is proposed, which stores and transmits information about network interfaces on a computer and routing to other services.
- Additional work has been done to translate WinSock into libraries based on the PE (Portable Executable) format. Many of the setsockopt and getsockopt handlers have been moved to the ntdll library.
- Support for 32-bit and 64-bit registry views has been added to the reg.exe utility.

- Closed bug reports related to running applications: Visual C++ 2005, WiX Toolset v3.x, Cypress PSoC Creator 3.0, CDBurnerXP 4.1.x - 4.4.x, QQ 2021, Windows PowerShell 2.0, Altium Designer 20, T-Force Alpha Plus VST2 64bit plugin, MSDN-Direct2D-Demo, Total Commander 9.51, Windows PC Health Check, TrouSerS, readpcr.
