An experimental release of the open implementation of WinAPI - Wine 7.19 has taken place. Since the release of version 7.18, 17 bug reports have been closed and 270 changes have been made.
The most important changes:
- Added the ability to save DOS attributes of files to disk.
- The vkd3d package with the Direct3D 12 implementation working through call translation to the Vulkan graphics API has been updated to version 1.5.
- Implemented support for MPEG-4 (AAC) audio compression format.
- Closed bug reports related to the operation of games: Resident Evil Revelations 2; Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Kheops Studio, Sonic Adventure DX (2004), AIMP 3.
- Closed bug reports related to the operation of applications: Visual Studio Express, .NET Framework 3.0, OpenMPT, HP Prime Virtual Calculator Emulator, Cubase 12, Windows media player, Subtitle Workshop Classic 6.1.4, AE VN Tools.
