An experimental release of the open implementation of WinAPI - Wine 7.3 has taken place. Since the release of version 7.2, 15 bug reports have been closed and 650 changes have been made.
The most important changes:
- Continued support for 'long' type code (more than 230 changes).
- Correct support for Windows API sets has been implemented.
- The translation of the USER32 and WineALSA libraries to use the PE (Portable Executable) executable file format instead of ELF has continued.
- Improved work with joysticks that support the HID protocol.
- Error reports related to the operation of the games have been closed: Motocross Madness 2, Gray Matter, Black and White 2, Mulle Meck, Trails to Azure.
- Closed error reports related to the operation of applications: Microsoft Visual Studio 2019.
