Western Digital's revenue rose 23%, but the number of hard drives sold continued to fall

The Western Digital calendar has already completed the third fiscal quarter of 2024, following its results the company was able to increase revenue by 23% to $3,5 billion year-on-year and by 14% sequentially. The company noted that in the cloud segment, revenue grew sequentially by 45%, in the client segment by 5%, and in the consumer electronics segment decreased by 13%.
