Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU19 Released

March 16 Oracle announced the release of the distribution Solaris 11.4 SRU19. As part of the release, another series of bugs has been fixed and some improvements have been introduced.

Solaris The operating system developed by Sun Microsystems for the SPARC platform has been owned, along with Sun assets, by Oracle Corporation since 2010. Despite the fact that Solaris is a closed source operating system, most of it is open and published in the OpenSolaris project (now not being developed, there is a fork).

Of the changes:

  • Updated tool for building configuration profile and system state Oracle Explorer up to version 20.1.
  • The distribution kit includes a build toolkit meson.
  • SNMP implements authentication with support for SHA2 hashes.
  • Python includes the following modules:

    • PHP up to version 7.3.14;
