Today, October 26, 2023, the Qucs-S electronic circuit simulator was released. The recommended modeling engine for Qucs-S is Ngspice.
Release 2.1.0 contains significant changes. Here is a list of the main ones.
- Added modeling in tuner mode (see screenshot), which allows you to adjust component values using sliders and see the result on graphs. A similar tool is available, for example, in AWR;
- For Ngspice, added support for components specified in the frequency domain using s2p files (requires Ngspice-41)
- Redesigned icons on the toolbar. Now SVG icons are used for buttons, and component icons are generated dynamically. All this improves the appearance for HiDPI
