First public version of PowerToys for Windows 10 released

The first one is the Windows Keyboard Shortcut Guide, which is a program with dynamic keyboard shortcuts for each active window or application. When you press the Windows button, it shows what actions can be performed using one or another combination of hotkeys.

The second number on the list is the FancyZones window manager. In fact, this is an analogue of tile window managers on Linux. It allows you to conveniently arrange windows on the screen and easily switch between them. Although, unfortunately, the application still has some problems when working with multi-monitor configurations.

Currently PowerToys available on GitHub. The applications are provided as open source. The company said they did not expect such an enthusiastic reception as before. Therefore, according to the developers, many members of the community will want to contribute to the development of the new version of PowerToys.

It is currently unknown what other utilities are expected on the list. But it looks like there will be a lot of them. And the status of open programs will expand their list many times over.
