The second beta version of the Chromium-based mobile browser Vivaldi for the Android platform has been released today. The list of major changes includes:
- Swipe to close tabs
- Enable scroll bar on inner pages
- Improved Quick Dial cell sorting by dragging and dropping
- Ability to create a new folder directly on the Express Panel
- Editing and Deleting a Speed Dial Cell
- One button empty trash
- Option to constantly load the desktop version of sites
- Updated context menu for selected text
- Experimental support for Chrome OS devices
- Performance improvement
- Chromium kernel update to version 79.0.3945.61
- Other fixes and improvements
The mobile version of Vivaldi is a continuation of the development of the desktop version, having a familiar interface and the ability to synchronize data between different devices, including bookmarks, notes, passwords, browsing history and currently open tabs. Supports Android devices version 5 and above.
