Mount & Blade II: Bannerlords Beta Update Released With Numerous Fixes

Taleworlds Entertainment has released an update to Mount & Blade II: Bannerlords that aims to fix the performance of the game. So far, it is only available in the beta version of the project. The developer follows a structured patching process. In addition to the main build of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlords, Steam users can install the beta version.

β€œThe beta branch will contain content that has passed our internal testing and will only be available to public testers for at least one week,” explained Taleworlds Entertainment. - During this period, we will address the identified issues with quick fixes. Our goal is a weekly cycle where we put our internal version into the beta branch and the previous beta branch into the main build of the game on Steam. However, if there are significant issues, we may delay the update until those issues are resolved."

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord's first major update in the beta branch aims to improve performance by reducing RAM and VRAM usage. It also fixes numerous crashes, tweaks the combat AI and UI, adds new artwork, and makes a number of improvements to the player's character development system.
