CD Projekt RED has announced the release of the Merchants of Ophir DLC for the GWENT: The Witcher Card Game for PC and iOS. As we wrote earlier, console versions today receive content support and will soon be closed.
The add-on added more than 70 new cards to GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, as well as a completely new type of them - strategic tricks. When creating a new deck, you will be able to choose one of 12 strategic moves to receive a bonus available to the first player in the match. In addition, with the addition, a mechanic called "Scenarios" appeared in the game. For example, the Masquerade Ball, available to Nilfgaard, opens a new chapter every time you play an aristocrat: when new aristocrats appear on the field, you summon the Poison Fang of the Empire. You can get the Merchants of Ophir keg for free if you log in to GWENT: The Witcher Card Game by December 16th, 13:59 AM ET. It contains 5 cards from the new expansion, at least one of which will be rare or more valuable. The store also started selling a set worth 1499 rubles.
