The New Cloud Technologies company, which develops the MyOffice document collaboration and communications platform, has announced an update to its flagship product. The 2019.03 release is reportedly the largest release of the year in terms of the amount of changes and improvements made.
The key innovation of the software solution was the function of audio comments - the ability to create and work with voice notes from the MyOffice Documents mobile application. Now users can dictate comments to texts or tables, instead of typing them on the keyboard. This is especially in demand in situations where you have to work with documents "on the run" or on the road.
Within the MyOffice ecosystem, users will be able to record, listen, pause or delete audio commentary, double the playback speed, and navigate to any point on the audio track. Unlike office software from other manufacturers, which uses an insecure voice input function processed on third-party remote servers, audio comments in MyOffice are stored inside the document itself and are not transferred to third services for decryption, which provides full control over user data. The function is available on any software and hardware platforms.
Also, the interface and design of the editors and the mail client were updated, which included an additional "Quick Actions" menu.
