Intel has been preparing a new generation of desktop processors, also known as Comet Lake-S, for quite some time now. We recently learned that XNUMXth generation Core processors should , and today, thanks to a well-known network source with the pseudonym momomo_us, the prices of almost all future new products have become known.
The upcoming Intel processors appeared in the assortment of a certain Dutch online store, and almost all models are mentioned here: from the junior dual-core Pentiums to the flagship ten-core Core i9. There are even models of the T-series with low power consumption, except for the smallest Celerons.
As usual in many European stores, there are two prices for each Comet Lake-S model - with value added tax (VAT), which is 21% in Holland, and without it. We do not know if the recommended retail prices are indicated here, or if the seller added something of his own. Be that as it may, for the flagship Core i9-10900K, the price is 496 euros without VAT, and for the consumer, that is, with tax, it will cost 600 euros with a little. For comparison, the current flagship Core i9-9900K in Holland costs from 550 euros, including VAT.
It is rather difficult to predict Russian prices based on these data, because Intel for Russia sets prices lower than European ones, but closer to American ones. And at the moment, we can only say with certainty that prices in Russia are unlikely to be lower than the European prices indicated above without VAT. And given the current situation with the exchange rate, the situation is not the most rosy.
