Polish studio Arclight Creations and publisher Klabater have unveiled a trailer for the April 21 launch of Help Will Come Tomorrow for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This story-driven survival and resource management sim takes place in Russia on the eve of the Revolution.
Help Will Come Tomorrow was 125% funded on Kickstarter - the developers are happy that they were able to attract a fairly wide audience and talk about their game. But with this success of microinvesting came responsibility. Now the studio knows that many players who love story survival games are really looking forward to Help Will Come Tomorrow - so the developers have tried to release the game complete and polished.
According to the plot, on the eve of the October Revolution, a train on the Trans-Siberian Railway crashes, and a group of passengers, surrounded by the endless Siberian taiga, will have to fight for existence. In the face of many dangers, weaknesses and class prejudices, they must learn to cope with the cold in the hope of a speedy rescue. People will have to unite and make decisions that sometimes run counter to their beliefs - the latter will have to be forgotten temporarily or even forever. Whether the group will be able to survive and at what cost depends on the player.
The main mechanics revolves around the survival of the nine characters - meeting their needs, collecting resources, expanding the camp, securing, exploring the surroundings. But it will soon become clear that for success you will have to study the personalities of the characters, their stories, develop relationships between them, stop conflicts and take care of morality. You can play selfishly, but only interaction will help you win and not stain your conscience.
