Warner Bros. and Lucasfilm to release LEGO Star Wars Battles mobile strategy

Warner Bros. and Lucasfilm announced mobile multiplayer strategy LEGO Star Wars Battles. The game is scheduled for release in 2020 on Android and iOS.

According to the description, the gameplay will consist of creating units and constructing towers. The main goal will be to capture territories on the battlefield. Players will be able to improve the equipment and characters they use. The project will feature Rey, Kylo Ren, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Master Yoda and other heroes of the franchise. 

The release will likely take place in late 2020, along with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Rising" because the studios promise the appearance of Rey and Kylo Ren in new costumes from the upcoming film.

This isn't the only LEGO-themed Star Wars project in development. At E3 2019 announced LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. It will combine all nine films in the franchise. The developer is Traveller's Tales. The project will be released on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
