
Waydroid 1.5, a launcher layer, has been released Android-application in Wayland environments.
This works by running Android in a container. Namespaces are used for processes, user IDs, the network subsystem, and mount points. Android The container has direct access to all necessary equipment.
Major changes:
- refactored setup to better handle preset images;
- HALIUM vndk31 and vndk32 are now distinguished;
- fixed gbinder protocol version for API 33;
- using intel_hasvk for Intel 8th generation graphics or lower;
- i915_capabilities reading error is not logged;
- SIGINT in lxc.py is handled without Python3 tracing;
- using the polkitd package in Debian.
