Wine - a layer of application compatibility for Windows with POSIX-compatible operating systems, translating Windows API calls into POSIX calls on the fly instead of emulating Windows logic like a virtual machine.
In addition to over 28 fixes in the bug tracker, the new release includes:
- Significant progress in the WineD3D backend on Vulkan.
- Initial support for splitting DLLs into PE and Unix parts.
- Support for generating PDB files when building PE DLLs.
- Update timestamps in Kernel User Shared Data.
