World of Warcraft Classic will open its doors at the end of summer

The launch of the long-awaited World of Warcraft Classic will take place at the end of summer, on August 27th. Users will be able to go back thirteen years ago and see what the world of Azeroth looked like back then in the legendary MMORPG.

This will be the World of Warcraft as fans remember it at the time of the release of update 1.12.0 “Drums of War” - the patch was released on August 22, 2006. All users with an active subscription will be able to play Classic and will have access to 40-person raids in Molten Core, PvP battles at Tarren Mill and other content.

Collectors should circle October 8th on their calendars for the release of the World of Warcraft 15th Anniversary Edition. It will include collectible souvenirs, in-game bonuses and a monthly subscription to World of Warcraft.
