Xbox at Gamescom 2019: Gears 5, Inside Xbox, Battletoads and Project xCloud

Microsoft has announced its participation in the Gamescom 2019 exhibition, which will be held from August 20 to 24 in Cologne, Germany. At the Xbox booth, visitors will be able to experience Gears 5's Horde mode, Minecraft Dungeons RPG, and other titles from various developers.

Before the exhibition starts, the Inside Xbox show will be broadcast live from the Gloria Theater in Cologne on August 19 at 18:00 Moscow time. The Xbox team will bring viewers the latest important gaming news and "much more." We can expect trailers for Xbox Game Studios projects, details of future Bleeding Edge testing, and the announcement of a number of games in Xbox Game Pass. The broadcast will take place on Xbox.com, Mixer, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook ΠΈ Twitter.

From August 21 to 23 at the Gloria Theater, Microsoft will also hold a special event for fans called Xbox Open Doors. It can be visited free of charge by anyone who will be in Cologne at that time. At Xbox Open Doors, players will take part in entertainment activities, including tournaments.

As for Gamescom 2019 itself, about 200 game units with projects will be installed at the Xbox booth, many of which will be included in the Xbox Game Pass library on PC and console. Visitors will be able to experience new Xbox Game Studios titles for the first time, including Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, Battletoads, Bleeding Edge, Gears 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC, Minecraft Dungeons and more. From third-party publishers, Xbox will introduce Borderlands 3, Doom Eternal, NBA 2K20, and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Visitors to the show will also be among the first in Europe to test the Project xCloud streaming service on mobile devices for themselves. In addition, the entire Xbox booth will be fully wheelchair accessible, including a wheelchair accessible ramp, Xbox Adaptive Controller, and support for simultaneous sign language interpretation in English and German.
