Xiaomi has introduced the first TV of the new ART TV (or Mural TV) series: it is a 65-inch 4K panel based on a Samsung display.
The TV is only 13,9 mm thick. Thanks to the flat back, the panel can be pressed against the wall as much as possible, imitating a painting. In standby mode, Mi ART TV can display works of art from 45 authors in 22 genres.
The novelty has a resolution of 3840 Γ 2160 pixels. Declared support for HDR 10, and the viewing angle reaches 178 degrees.
The panel is connected via the Mi Port connector to the main module, which contains the key electronic components. This is a quad-core 1,8 GHz Amologic processor with a Mali-T830 graphics accelerator, 2 GB of RAM, a 32 GB flash drive, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2,4 / 5 GHz) and Bluetooth wireless adapters.
The main module acts as a soundbar. There are HDMI (Γ3), USB (Γ2) and Ethernet ports. The kit also includes a separate subwoofer.
The novelty uses the proprietary PatchWall software platform. The remote control supports Bluetooth and voice commands.
The Xiaomi Mi ART TV 65-inch Picture TV will be available for an estimated price of $1050.
