Not so long ago, rumors about the upcoming POCO X3 smartphone began to appear on the Web. Today, Xiaomi officially confirmed that this device will be presented on September 732th, and it will be based on the recently introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon XNUMXG processor.

The new processor is designed to replace last year's Snapdragon 730 and 730G chipsets in the market. It has eight cores, six of which are clocked at 1,8GHz. Two productive cores have a clock frequency of 2,3 GHz. The chipset supports some Snapdragon Elite Gaming features such as anti-cheat protection, Vulkan 1.1 graphics driver, and True HDR. In addition, the new processor provides 4K video capture and HDR support. The chip also boasts a fourth-generation Qualcomm AI Engine, a Hexagon 688 DSP, and Quick Charge 4+ support.

“Snapdragon 732G will provide advanced gaming experience, AI performance and superior performance. We are pleased that the new chip will be the basis of the upcoming POCO smartphone,” says Xiaomi.

It is assumed that POCO X3 will receive a screen with a round hole for the front 20 MP camera and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The design of the main camera block will be similar to what can be seen in POCO F2 Pro. The resolution of the main sensor will be 64 megapixels. The new smartphone is also expected to be the first NFC-enabled POCO device.
